I like to suggest designers spend an overnight in High Point off-market and discover the Bienenstock Furniture Library as well as other things that they typically don’t have time for during Market. I can’t really think of a greater luxury, or a way to enhance a furnishings or interior designer’s career.
I love going through the older periodicals in the Library’s collection. The graphics are fresh and charming, and as I flip through the pages, I get ideas for my magazine. Nostalgia can actually feel very modern.
