By day, Paul Sanow is a Theatre Consultant and by night a period furniture maker whose passion for detail shines through in his exquisite work. In June 2012, Paul visited The Bernice Bienenstock Furniture Library to research Federal Card Tables. He spent several hours combing through the many titles available to him and found a wealth of information to begin his next project. This Baltimore inspired Federal Card Table is just one of the many pieces Paul has crafted over the years. As you can see from the photos, Paul is a skilled craftsman. He is a member of the Society of American Period Furniture Makers and enjoys all aspects of furniture making……from the research to the finished product. You can follow Paul’s blog that shows his work and progress as he crafts these beautiful pieces. For the aspiring cabinetmaker or the skilled craftsman, BBFL offers an extensive collection of period resources to help with any project.
