Hometown Revival: An exhibit of drawings on architectural concepts along High Point’s Main Street corridor was on display at the Bernice Bienenstock Furniture Library Thursday, September 20, 2012. This is a master plan for the development of High Point’s UPTOWNE District. Peter Freeman, Freeman Kennett Architects, is shown telling community supporters about the plan. Peter Freeman’s ideas for the master plan include suggestions for new business locations, parking access for all businesses and a roadway design for a pedestrian friendly UPTOWNE.
