Libby Langdon, a successful furniture and interior designer, HGTV design show host, author and judge for the Bienenstock Design Competition was honored at IFDA’s 2012 Night of Luminaries.  Robin Gainey, Carolina’s Chapter IFDA President and Karla Webb, Carolina’s Chapter IFDA Secretary presented Libby with an engraved vase for her contributions to the design and home furnishings industry.  The top design students from North Carolina colleges were also recognized for their academic accomplishments receiving 2012 Rising Star certificates.  The student’s were presented with a one year student membership to the Carolina’s Chapter IFDA.  Karla Webb, Library Director at The Bernice Bienenstock Furniture LIbrary presented each Rising Star a gift.  Congratulations to each of these students for their dedication and hard work.  The following students were honored:
